Our Senior Skater Showcase is here! Every month we will share stories of seniors who are graduating high school this upcoming Spring. Our first three seniors are Annika, Katie, and Amelia!
Annika Nelson, a resident of Franklin Park, has been skating for 13 years! She attends Resurrection College Prep and plans to attend Castleton University to play Division Three hockey. Her favorite memories are going to tournaments with her team, senior night, and growing up with her teammates.
Katie Golla, a resident of Oak Park, has been skating since she was nine years old! She attends Oak Park River Forest High School and plans to attend Wellesley College to play field hockey once she graduates. Her favorite thing about skating at the Franklin Park Ice Arena is the lifelong friendships she has made.
Amelia Gardiner, a resident of North Riverside, has been skating at the Franklin Park Ice Arena for 12 years! She attends Riverside Brookfield High School and plans to study nursing post-graduation. Amelia has made lifelong friendships throughout her time at Franklin Park. She was even on the Starr Blades team for a season which she enjoyed! Her favorite memory was getting her first solo in the Spring Ice Show and competing with her friends over the years.
