Open Play will resume starting on Monday, December 7 following new guidelines. The statewide Tier 3 mitigation measures allow for single participant training and Open Play is being adapted accordingly. One player will be allowed at each basket. Participants can only shoot hoops themselves. There is not playing with others and games are not allowed.
Open Play will be for all ages, Residents ONLY. You must show proof of residency or be in our system. If you need to prove residency, the Community Center can provide you with a form.
Similar to before the mitigation measures, a reservation system will be used. Reservations are for 50 minute time slots. You can reserve a max of two time slots to shoot baskets. Open Play’s hours will be Monday-Friday from 6-9 am and 12-8 pm. Weekend hours will be 8 am-4 pm.
Masks are required for entering the building and during Open Play. This is a guideline from Illinois DCEO’s All Sports Policy. Participants must come dressed to play. The locker rooms are only available for restroom use.
If any rules are not being followed, you will be asked to leave Open Play. These guidelines are in place to safely offer recreational opportunities to our community. Please contact us with questions or make your reservations at (847) 455-2852. We appreciate your cooperation and continued support during this challenging time.
